Something you can do on the cheap... Get an top of the line camcorder, I nice tripod, a good wireless Mic system with a wind screen, novice AV edditing software, and go video record stuff you are interested in discussing. Interview a few people... Get a YouTube channel going. Total upfront cost could be about $1,000 as long as your computer doesn't suck... from that point forward, it's pretty close to free. Plus, ifyouform a media business out of your house, you can get press passes and get free access to events you cover.

I like to fish, hunt, tactical and precision shooting, cruise-ins, and car shows. I also collect knives, I invest in foreign currency, precious and semiprecious metals and gems.

I plan on doing some road course stuff this year. Also plan on, buying some of my own land to build a 1,000 yard range.

I've always had an interest in foreign currency. If you don't mind me asking, have you found much financial success in this hobby? Any advice, videos, or books you would recommend?

Forex.com is your window to the world. There are a lot of similarities between our US Stock Exchange and Forex. You can trade real-time cash, which is not a good idea, or you can use Futures and Future Options, with future options being the safest method.

Start reading the ForEx site to get a rough idea and to actually use a reputable broker, but babypips.com has the easiest learning tools I have seen.

Once you go through and complete kindergarten, let me know and I can send some book recommendations over based on your initial reaction.

Like anything else, you have to play big to win big and diversity is the name of the game. So don't sink everything you have into any one market or investment type. You're going to have to see what your goals are and what expendable income you have, and then look at various known investment strategies to come up with a game plan.

As far as money to be made... It's a yes. Be careful though, some market is open somewhere in the world 24x7 and it can be addictive.

Much appreciated! Going to start doing some research.

I work out about 5-6 times a week but I do that to stay young rather then making it a hobby. What I really enjoy is reading comic books and I've been learning about wine in the last 3 years. Gotta say those are my top two.

Poker, photography, guns, writing, hiking, etc. I want to get back into playing with ATVs, but no rig to tow & too much of a pain so whatever. Not at the top of the list. Wouldn't mind trying skiing either.

Not only will it be fun for you, you'll also save a ton on jeans.

I got into RC cars. Fairly cheap to pick up a beginner level vehicle. I spend a lot of time terrorizing the neighborhood and local skatepark.

I don't have much time to do anything. But, I recently started to get back into older xbox 360 games. And when I get time I would like to try doing youtube videos.

Thank you guys for all the feedback. I'm leaning towards some R/C Stuff, and potentially biking with Mojo.

I dont have a lake that nearby (i'm about 40 minutes from Lake Alatoona atm, which is a VERY difficult lake to fish)

I will get back into wakeboarding when it warms up though. :D

Keep em coming!

And I believe I've burnt myself out on video games. I used to get paid to play Halo 3, was on a few semi - professional MLG teams, and have played 3-4 hours a day for the better part of 15 years. I think it may be time I take a break.......hahahaha

I cannot taste food (botched wisdom teeth surgery + nasal polyps), and any sort of alcohol has a negative effect on my stomach. So I may have 1-2 beers a week.

Find yourself a RC track near by and go check it out. Most racers are very helpful and want to bring noobs into the addiction.

If you can't find a track, flying would be my go to. Bashing a RC around the backyard is only so fun for so long.

OP should take up sewing. It would save him money instead of buying the glitter clothes, he could make them. Wouldn't need much material either being a 130lbs. Lol

do you guys get tired of making the same joke over and over again? :D

I shall do just that, @99-venom thank you! There's 3-4 within 30 minutes of me

If we are still making the jokes, obviously not. Lack of blood flow must be causing some lapses in critical thinking.

On a serious note, FINISH YOUR DEGREE if you have free time.
