[Joke about it still being FCA]
[Comment about how I still respect the car for what it is]
[Self-rebuttal that I don't really like Challengers though]
[Comment about the price being high vs nearest competition]
[Comment about how Ford has the 2008 Cobra Jet that ran 8.9 and who cares it isn't "street legal."]

Am I doing this right, guys?

It's not the power that's impressive- it's the fact that it's turnkey, street-legal, and has a warranty.

I’ve used Wallace’s with closer results but they’re far from ideal. Track and prep, DA and weather conditions play a huge part as well, etc. I input the basics that are known from Zem’s post such as Atco’s weather info for that day and time, 4000 raceweight and 1025 crank horsepower (assuming 12% loss for ~900 rwhp) and came up with what’s posted below...albeit the mph is a bit low but ET is pretty damn close.

Yea these cars are getting closer and closer to the 1500 hp number to the crank that u say will NEVER happen.

He needs 1170 to move it and at a 12% drive loss that puts him around 1300 crank hp. Yea and dyno numbers don't mean dick either.

Track don't lie! Wont be long and then u will have a host of new excuses of how or why it happened.. Maybe Hennessey maybe someone else but ur gonna look awful stupid when that happens aint ya lol

Then maybe u can continue ur wet dream of having a fast car some day.....

Just like everything else, I suspect it all comes from Hennessey, cuz he bild da bst.

There are calculators all over the web that are used to give an estimate of horsepower. I haven't plugged in data that hasn't been far off yet that I have a dyno'd # for and actual 1/4 mile run. It's physics. Let me know if you find a car that this calculator doesn't show a close MPH. (Wheel HP seems to be more consistent than Engine HP).
what would 200 in the 1/8th on a 3050lb car come out to?

Wait, what do you mean when it happens? You keep regurgitating that Hennessy is doing 1500 with bolt ons? Where is it?

Like @Zemedici has pointed out, your math is like your grasp of English...at a first grade level.

Demon's are awesome, I wish I could have afforded one. with just those basic bolt ons running low 9s is badass. Hopefully one day I can buy one

Call it like it is....the Ford crowd is absolutely seething that they have nothing to compete with this.

This car is doing the exact same thing that the previous '03/04 Cobra's and GT500's did, but on a higher level. All anyone cares about now is road racing lol.

I realize this comment will probably blow up this thread, but it's the truth.

100% agreed

How the hell do you get a Hellcat down to 4,000lbs??
Take out all seats, minus driver seat, take off the fender wheel wells on the front and strip down the engine bay to a bare minimum, take out all carpeting,.etc, etc,... lol
(sarcasm here.)

How much does the Exorcist cost and how quick and fast is it? Disappointed no one has run what Tim K. said it would. On the other side, this car will run 8s with full bolt ons, tune, better DRs and C16 or E85. That does impress me. 7-10K, to get it in the 8s?
