I was right about arguing with walls

Demon was built for 1/4 mi while the gt500 was built for twisties, dunno why people are getting so worked up about comparing the two

1. Anything purchased after point of sale at the dealer is after market.
2. The wheels are not street legal. No dealer can sell a demon with skinnies on the car or included in the purchase of said car.

if Ford did the same, it would be aftermarket/non stock.

the crate is sold during the initial purchase and unless I’m wrong can’t be purchased after even if you own a demon. So this OEM.

“The 2018 Dodge Challenger Demon has an intriguing $1 option — the Demon Crate, which includes branded tools and accessories. To prevent abuse, the bargain-priced Crate can’t be purchased by dealers when the car is ordered; the customer can only order it 48 hours after taking delivery of the car.”

After the purchase which makes it aftermarket.
Legally Dodge can not sell skinny tires with the Demon purchase as these tires are not DOT legal.

The only person that can order the crate is the original owner. That person has to wait 48-72 hours after the dealer sends the NVDR to Dodge. Most people waited 3-6 months for the crate to be delivered by UPS.

100% wrong. The crate is sold after the purchase. Please do some more research before posting incorrect information.
Crate is not sold after the purchase, every single Demon owner in the history of the car paid for the crate in the msrp of the car. It's really a shame you guys have to argue such a brilliant plan car manufacturers have to do to skirt dumb laws. Very Mach-E of you anti craters.

I understand its hard for you to get it. But you cant not order your crate until after purchase. There is nothing you can do to change that. NOTHING.

The Mach E sounds like it might be the best option for you. Good luck

Crate = OEM stalk. Baum.

Paid for with the original purchase of the car; hence, the $1 dollar price tag after the fact.

CJ is not street legal because it doesn’t have a VIN. Demon does.

Demon is fully warrantied by Dodge with all the baum stalk parts provided by Dodge (which of course includes all parts on the crate) while drag racing at the strip. Let that sink in!

Try getting your rear end or tranny warrantied by Ford, while out on the race track. Don’t worry, we will wait...

The time Dodge posted with the after market optioned Demon makes it illegal to drive on the road. Just as the CJ is illegal to drive on the road. How is this any different?

I’m still waiting for the street legal demon times....

I have no doubt some people are here just to hate Ford.

Which is interesting as the only Ford vehicles I like currently are the F150-F350’s.

My current I want new vehicle list now:
RWD/AWD - SRT Charger, Audi S/RS, AMG, Lexus
4WD - 150/250/350, JL Rubi, Glad Rubi, and TRD.

Im guessing they dont cover the warranty when the demon burns down at the track.

What he’s getting at is dodge themselves indicate the crate is valued at 6k+, and by selling it for a dollar after the vehicle has been purchased it’s to work the loopholes

The difference is the CJ has no vin or tags. Meanwhile the demon owner can go full crate mode on the street as they please.

the debate about being legal or not is a very fine line. Not much different then manufactures selling cars on cup tires that barely meet the limit to be dot approved tread depth and are unsafe in cold conditions.

So I’m not sure where you’re having problems finding the times the car has run as everyone of these threads produces them.

No they can’t! The skinny wheels are non DOT legal. Which means you can’t drive the Demon on the street legally as it was set up on the 9.65 pass.

The 9.65 Demon is just as illegal to drive on the street as the CJ.

What does the Demon run as a street legal car? I don’t know, no one will answer me!
