Everyone talks about that, but I didnt bro…. Honest to God… The 350 is a far far superior car vs my old 14’ 500….

the only way this will not be true is if you are a knuckle dragging, life living 1/4 mile at a time bro…

then again, there is the reliability issues with the 350…. So its back to Trinity… lol

I actually miss my 1LE mullet more than the shelbro

A proper LS/LT car with a manual and decent cam is hard to beat.

Im still on a mission to find another c5Z and do a mild build on it. Mmmmmmmmm

Unpopular opinion incoming:

I drove a GT350 for a couple of days in 2020 on a business trip and was severely disappointed. The lack of grunt at low RPM was a real letdown, the seating position in relation to the shifter/center stack was awkward to operate, the car was felt impossibly huge and was hard to place..........and the clutch.....Jesus Christ, what was Ford thinking? The clutch throw was 40' long and felt like shit with a really awkward release point. The exhaust valve felt, and sounded like, a ricer party trick.....obnoxious for the sake of obnoxiousness and no other reason.

For the price they're asking for these things I don't think it's too much to expect them to up the quality a little either. The whole car felt cheap and enough was broken that the feeling was justified. I've never been so glad to give a car back to the owner as I was after driving that for 2 days.

Hop on Turo and grab one for a day and see what you think before buying one.

I'll give you that the clutch was weird at first. I'm used to it now and it's no big deal. Steeda sells a replacement helper spring+perch that makes it act like a regular (mushy?) clutch if that's what one wants.

And the build quality? Well, it's a Ford so it's pretty shitty these days regardless of what Ford model you buy. But damn, I find it fun to drive.

I’m actually going to take you up on that. I’m going to search Turo and see if I can find one for rent.

Blown89, as you admitted it has absolutely no balls down low.
But man climbing the esses at Watkins Glen or the rising hill to the front straight at road America, rpms pushing 8000, damn this is where it shines !!!!

So I’ve looked at renting a GT350 on Turo. Only one I can find is in CA. Not gonna happen, and he wants $349 for a day, then $125 to fill the tank, etc. was kinda funny truly. I’ll just try and find a local dealer, or maybe even a buddy who has one that I can just drive for even 30 minutes versus 3 miles in a circle.

Love my GT350. Best Mustang I've ever driven and owned. I get it out on the track where it belongs as much as possible COTA is local to me and even though it's around $700 for the day to drive on it, it is 100% worth it.
MSR Cresson and MSR Houston are within a few hours from me and are also great to drive on.
The GT350 was born to live on the track, but is a fantastic daily. I would not hesitate a bit to get another. Mine will be replaced with a 911 though. Soon. If I had the garage space, I'd keep it and put the P-car right next to it.
Here is the stable. The 19 GT is the soon-to-be ex wifes car.

It's not that it wasn't regular, its that the throw was super long and gritty and engaged somewhere in the middle. My V has a hydraulic clutch with a nice short, firm, predictable travel. It's what should be in the 350 IMO.

It's the best looking mustang made in a LONG time, I'll give it that much.
