If I want a Cobra with a top, I would get this
I agree. I rode in one years ago that had working A/C and a Windsor street engine. It was titled as a 1965 no emissions issues.

Just thought of something. Keep all your paper work on engine, trans, rear end purchases. My DOT told me to have the bill of sales notarized before sending them in for a VIN.
Be sure you have a serial number on all parts that apply.
The more information on the bill of sale the better.
After building the car for a year or so, it is nearly impossible to call up and get the paper work you need.

It's done. Order is in. Should be sometime in November-ish. I haven't been this excited since I got an electric slot car set for Christmas when I was 10.

And now I have to think about color. I've been scouring the web for color ideas. I had initially thought I'd do a really deep, dark green with a dark gray stripe, but the wife shot that down. The traditional blue is nice, but I would hate to get in the wrong car after a meet. There are some nice reds out there too. Opinions?

I really liked the orange that you could get on the c6 corvettes. Also love that dark blue that was on the 2020ish ford trucks, "denim blue" or something like that?

I've got a date of 11/25 for kit completion. Possibly have it before Christmas.
I say orange with dual center white stripes about 6 inches wide for each.
I was going to do one in Burnt Orange back when I was thinking about it.
Yeah like I say white, dark blue (Ford Racing) and black have been done to death when it comes to Cobras. Another one would be Yellow with black stripes and the white number circles on the doors.
late to the party but I did see one of these a while back that had a coyote and whatever they did with the intake looked like it had 8 velocity stacks like on an old carb setup that I thought went really well with the retro styling
