It is amazing the amount of bullshit people will talk on the internet. Apparently we have the top 2% of the country, not only on this site, but in this thread! Amaaaaazing!

btw a 1420 on the 2 part test would put your sister in the 50th percentile of kids going to harvard. so it wasnt her test scores.

Yeah she wasn't top of the class or anything and she didn't apply to an Ivy league school. I was just commenting she couldn't get into Vandy with those scores and a good gpa and lots of extra curricular activities and what not.

I hated the ACT. For some reason, I always sucked on it. 19, 21, 21.

Somehow I ended up with a 1320 on the SAT tho :dw: not sure where the ball dropped there

I believe 2006 was the first year of the official change that required the writing section.

31 first and only time.

2006 was when the SAT added another 800 point section for writing bringing the grand total to 2400 available points. Because the section is so new, most colleges still look at the original 1600 (math + reading) for admissions and use the writing section for english class placement.

When I took it in 7th grade I got a 19 or 21, I can't remember. When I took it my junior year I got a 29. What sucked was that I was #31 in a graduating class of ~290, so I missed top %10 by two people. Oh well, I got in to the Speed School (engineering) here at UofL without a problem.

We got a bunch of Einstein's here at SVTP:read::read::read:

This board has got to be the most intelligent board on the net. Everybody is in the 98th percentile:bs::bs:

Come on, I now there has to be a few 16-21 in here

BTW, I got a 37

Lol I was thinking that same thing
