Ive come to the conclusion that Cory likes the thrill of modding a car and once its modded he has nothing to obssess over. Ill make you a deal Cory, Ill let you mod my car and you can just give it back when you are done, no questions asked.

ok, so i drove a E55. i have to still be somewhat open minded because of how the road conditions were, but i didnt really like it. too throttle happy it seemed like WAY WAY too touchy, and the ride was too soft, sort of like the boaty ride of a old cadillac, but was still tight at the same time, didnt like that. and it honestly doesnt look that good IMO. flat out hauls ass, and OMG is the traction control system awesome on these slick ass roads it took off from a stop like a mofo, and never spun the tires.

going to hope for clear roads tomarrow, and ride back out to chantilly, and drive it on good roads before i completely shoot it down.

so right now im looking at mainly the harley truck, going to ride in a local guy's some time next week.

also working on trying to find out if i can insulate the cobra alot, and make it ride better.
that car has 3 differnt ride modes,comfort,sport,sport2 and shift modes

Damnit, I can't believe I missed out on this whole thread...

Where do I sign up to hit that?

You'd need a plane ticket...

the escalade's my grandma's, but i do drive it every now and then.

but yes la chupa, i have a F250.

You have a truck, yet you want to buy another car. Why again? And you are buying a house in Florida too. Please inform me on how you are making all this money at 19, because I want to get in on it too. And don't say you buy and sell cars as an investment, because you must be taking huge hits on every single one that you sell.

house in FL is $200K and were going in 50/50 my mortgage will be about $600/month

im getting rid of that truck, my grandpa has actually been driving it quite a bit, and wants to take over the payments. all i will lose is the $5K or so in payments ive made and the $10K in mods ive done. thats pretty good considering i paid $52K for the truck alone and KBB is like $35K.

i have my ways of making money, ill leave it at that.

It's a simple question, doctor: would you eat the moon if it were made of ribs?

Cory just keep the Cobra and stop attracting so much attention with these "mind change" threads. Your car is sick, if you get bored just go work on your 94. :)

No wild hair, Cory. You're just stating things that are very hard to accept. You talk about the buying and selling of high dollar items like I talk about groceries. These scenarios you come up with are quite often very unrealistic or flat out naive. Even if the rates are listed at 5.4%, which was where they were at when we refinanced, gettting approved for that is a completely different story. When you say you're thinking of buying a 70k car and when asked how you can afford it then say "I have ways of making money," people are going to call shennanigans left and right. Remember, you're making these claims and statements in a public forum which is open to all discussion; Positive, neutral, or negative.

i honestly could care less what people call, i post up a thread asking for suggestions or input from a group of people who's opinions i highly respect, not to have my whole life questioned.

most people here dont even know me, very few do, i have many ways that i make $$ some of them may not be 100% legal, and im not going to voice them in public. if people want to call bullshit, i could really care less, at the end of the day, im 19, and am very fortunate to have things that many people can only dream of.

people make their money, i make mine, im going to leave it at that. my business is mine, and nobody elses.

Am I the only one that thinks those two statements are a bit of a contradiction?
