Well the weather is getting better here but the fox is having transmission issues so that race may be delayed. I asked the SRT4 guy to race tonight but he didn't respond, I just bought a standalone for my car and finally got around to tuning with it, here is a video of a 2nd-3rd gear pull at 16psi, should be roughly about 320rwhp I think. It is still a little cold out (about 38 degrees) and thats why I spun right at the top of 2nd.

Damn that was slow

arent most cars with only 320rwhp?

that was 16psi. at 17psi he ran a 12.01 and at 20 psi he ran 11.55
pretty big jump for a few psi. his turbo is out of its maps at 16psi, he needs to be running it closer to 23-25

trans is coming out. Won't see the race till mid february now. Motor and trans are both coming out.
Motor will be a .030" 302 with GT40 heads explorer intake and E cam.

Should make 320rwhp. I'd suggest going with some compression since you are replacing the pistons. Look into a better cam and intake also.

Ooo if he makes that kind of rwhp that would be an awesome race for me at 16psi on pump gas, bring it Dusten

I already have the intake and the cam, i've had them for a while. Its just a temp motor, so i am not spending any real money on it.

Well atleast go with some good compression. I'd go with 10.5-11.1 if I were you.

I'll run you on the lowest boost setting against your fox, and I told you that I would race you on your tiller with me at 26psi once I get my meth installed but you said you didn't want to get your bike ready just to race me. I was trapping only 3mph slower then you in the 1/8th last year with a lot less hp then this year ;).

So you used stock pistons on a .030 over block?
