Drove the car to work today without a smile on my face. So sick and tired of the e-brake handle vibration noise. Drives me crazy. How the hell do u get rid of that?

I took a ruff pad scratched it up, wet sanded it with a 100 then 1000 then used Plastic X to polish it back to perfection.

O yeah, look into a mothers powerball it makes polishing a snap.

you went right from 100 grit to 1000? thats a big jump. i'll look for some plastic x though and i have a mothers cone.

Adjusted the hard stop and TP voltage.
Darn oval blade TB wouldn't close all the way,
vacuum kept it open, even with an extra return spring.
All is good now.

I started out by tinting the taillights and all the Cobra/SVT emblems on the car on Christmas night after everybody left. A good start. Looks great IMHO. Spent the next 3 days removing the interior and adding dynomat extreme. 2-1/2 bulk packs total. Added 2 sets of Boston Acoustics pro60 se to the stock Mach 4suxty speaker locations. Removed factory head units and amps. Added a JL W3 10" and 900/5 along with good cabeling and wiring. Getting started on the TCE front brake kit tomorrow. Will have that done in a day. Still in the box: MM torque arm, rear coilover kit, adjustable rear swar bar, and panhard bar. Also have lower torque box reinforcements when I can get to them! :burnout::burnout:

i took my guage cluster out. i wet sanded the plastic cover with 1000 grit and then 2000 grit. then i polished with that plastx for hours to get it back right. i got pretty nervous there for a while but it came out looking nice.

To each his own. I'll take my plastic black plug over some goofy looking cap sticking 2" off the side of the intake with a huge hose clamp on it any day.

i just got a about a foot of heater hose an connected it to the black piece after the brass fitting, then i capped the other end off and zip tied it out of site so it would look functional and nice, but secretly be capped off..... purely for looks

on a serious note, couldn't some of the plastic or caulk break or melt and get sucked in...just a thought.

see, looks stock, but really its capped off

I started mine for the first time in a month today let it idle for a while watched it catch fire and blow out the fan and overflow tank then tried to wash it off with a frozen hose FTL LOL. Maybe next week will be more fun lol.:bash:

Good idea on yours. Mine won't ever melt, and the caulk cannot get through it... I checked ;-)

I didn't do a damned thing to mine today... Just looked at it in the garage. The other day I got the engine all cleaned up really nice. I'm done with my car 'til I get some parts.
