Awesome looking house.

Good thing you didn't build on your property in Lehigh (which has been turning into quite a pit). Houses down here are definitely a steal right now, a friend is about to close on a 3000 sq ft house with a pool on freshwater (oh well) for $127K. Just needs a coat of paint and tile.

I never planned on building there for myself. Those were investments. I bought 10 lots and sold off 5 just before the peak. So the remaining 5 I own free and clear and pocketed a decent profit.

The trifecta of guns, whores, and booze.

That really is the perfect trifecta, however the order shall be women, guns, and booze.

Rum, Scotch and Cigars... can I stop by? :shrug:

Rum = no
Scotch = good single malt
Cigars = Diplomaticos, Ramon Allones, and Bolivar.

Nice house and the dock is even better.

Hell yes. The dock is the best part. Actually the community is wonderful too. It is resort type living. There is an Outfitters with all fishing supplies that you can borrow or buy if you choose. There is a series of pools, one includes a three story waterslide. At pool side is a small cafe that serves alcohol and you cant pay with cash, it is billed to you monthly on account.

Congrats! Sounds like you've been a very savvy and fortunate investor. Well done! And I wish you the very best with your new home. :)

I have been extremely lucky and fortunate. I appreciate your kind words.

I just got back from the final walk through and closing on my new house. I always wanted to live on the water. The current dock is being expanded and a new 4 post 16,000 pound lift is being installed in two weeks.

That would happen to be around island way would it? A good friend of mine has a very similar looking back of the house with a boat lift. I'm sure there all over FL, but never seen them in our area but in that area.

Congrats!

FlahDah man.
Looks nice Adam. I am looking for a place when I get back from Embassy duty. I want to buy now while the market is like this. My dad says he does not see it changing for several years, especially in FL where the oil spill is taking an additional toll of the long term economy. Know any good real estate folks?
