Took the car out today since it's supposed to snow tomorrow, plus I removed the junk LMR Econoshifter that came with the car and put in a Pro 5.0 w/ one of Bob's shifter gaskets. So much less NVH now. Also ordered a bunch of gray/charcoal Alcantera to do the center console and I have enough left over black Alcantera from when I did my WRX interior to make my own shifter boot and do the stitching in red and either staple it to the metal shifter base or use my 3M or Permatex headliner adhesive spray.

The stitching may be the toughest part since i'm not exactly a pro at stitching and it needs to be done at a cross style stitch pattern with red threads with a plastic type ring to go over the threaded handle area.

Engine or Transmission have never been out. Only things done to engine are intake and valve cover gaskets and a waterpump. Engine bay has never been restored or messed with. Still original air cleaner, carb, dist. Inside trunk looks nearly new also. Even the suspension still has all original ball joints, bushings, idler arm, The power steering has never been messed with and zero leaks.
I have the original Window Sticker, Owners Manual, Warranty card, extended warranty card, original CA pink slip/title and every registration from July 1966 to current. The CA black plate that was issued to car July 1966 is still with car and I display it on front. (legal here in AZ)
Bit dirty underhood as have not had a chance to clean it up yet. Wiper motor is off as it was never used much if at all during its lifetime. Need to clean up the armature a bit tarnished
I did rebuild the power brake booster and has new master cylinder

In the 427R
1987 Cabriolet, factory slantnose. Had the engine and transmission rebuilt 5 years ago. Now 3.4 L with the K27-7200 turbo. 80,200 miles.

Noice. The 4 speeds are cool and strong transmissions. Probably 425-430hp?

That’s my father’s, real 89. Built 3.3L, air research Garrett single turbo, 1bar low boost 1.5bar on race fuel, 3in turbo back exhaust with chambered flow master, fab car inner cooler, 934 cams, built g50 with short 3,4,5 gears, twin plug, elctromotive crank fire ignition, Bilstein coil overs, euro spec front air dam, 934 whale tail, fikse 18x10 front and 18x12 rear, 924S capilers, Proto gauges. And some other stuff.

My godfather bought it new and did almost everything to it. He originally had the car built with twin turbo with 962 hotboxes on it, with group b cams. And some other various upgrades. But the engine popped at road Atlanta on my father’s first session in that particular car.

Currently have a black 88 Slant coupe in for some maintenance.
