Went to the 1/8 mile track for their last race of the year. Previous best was 8.306, new best was 8.249.

Just got back from the track. They had their last bracket race of the year for street cars. I made it 2 rounds, then got beat in the 3rd round. I did get a new PB. 8.249.

I changed my oil today and noticed on the oil filter box, it said, "New size, same performance". I new when they said new size, it wasn't going to be bigger. I took a side by side comparison pic. At least they're still made in the USA.

I swapped the rear tires and wheels today, going to the strip tonight. Here's a few new pics with the 315/45/16 M/T drag radials and M/T Classic II's.

Today I installed my new fog lights to replace the the yellowed, cracked fog lights. I already got my chrome, stealth bulbs for the side marker/turn signal bulbs and new headlight and fog light bulbs. 80/100 watt headlight bulbs and 100 watt fog bulbs.

I found a nice spot for some fall pics.

Here's a couple more before and after shots. So far I installed the coils, cam bolts and rear shackles. I still have rear hangers, but I don't know if I want to drop the rear any more. What do you guys think?

I got around to installing my lowering kit today (Eibach 2/2). I'm pretty pleased with amount of drop. The front might drop a little more once the springs settle. The back could have been a little more but it's got a nice rake to it. I won't be driving it until Friday when I go and get it...

I bought these black stock tails to replace the chrome ones. What do you think? 78 bucks shipped from Auto parts warehouse, and delivered on Sat. Have a car (truck) show tomorrow, probably the most thorough detail I've done to my truck.
