What's the boost and hp difference between the 2.9 and the 2.8 like say 2.9 give you on avergae 30 hp more and like 40 tq more just speakin???????????

I was pushing 423rwhp 414rwtq before the 2.80 pulley and tune.Now its 455rwhp and 509rwtq.If this helps you.The wife's car makes 460rwhp and 497rwtq with the 2.93.

I just had mine tuned yesterday and pulled 463hp and 481tq with a 2.93 pulley. Other mods are Bassani o/r X, Borla Stingers, K&N FIPK2, SCT Tune

if you really want to go for torque, which you can easily with the solid rear, get a 2.93 upper and 4lb lower and a really good tune (sct). Or just got for the 2.73 upper.

i am running the reinhert racing no-slip 2.80 and Motoblue aux-pulley +idlers,she is useing the billetflow interchangeable upper with the 2.93 and Idlers.All purchased for Amazon racing.

lol i'll give your a quick short answer, YES. save your stock one incase you ever have to put it back on for warranty work. and sa-when, maybe the reason shes so close to your 2.8 is because bf with the idlers is the best pulley brand you can buy from what everyone has said. i havn't heard one bad thing about them, and i have about riechard. thats just a suggestion tho

Of course it does, Unless you know or have the hook up's at FORD no way in hell will they warranty your car if you bring it in with a 2.8 or 2.9 pulley on it. Your adding about 50% more boost over stock

Or maybe its because she has a full exhaust on hers [Bassani x-pipe and 3'' catback,I still have the stock h-pipe with all 6cats and a little 2.5'catback.]But hey what do I know.Not every car will run the same with certain mods.If they did we would all be running the same thing.I heard about the riechard pulleys eating belts,I'll just have to cross that bridge when I get to it.I will say her car does seem a bit smoother,plus she has more miles on her car,It seemed to get a little faster when she hit 3000 miles,could just be me though :shrug: Thanks for the imput.

I really can't explain it her car just feels smoother and pulls a little harder up top then mine does.We use the same dyno and the same tuner hers put down 464rwhp 497rwtq mine put down 460rwhp and 515rwtq.I hope this helps you.

her hp is higher b/c of her full exhaust but the 3 in. is killing her torque thats why even though you have 1 more psi of boost, you are still making a good amount more tq like 20 more ftlb. Likewise thats why your Tq is at 515 b/c of your stock hpipe and 2.5 in pipes. more backpressure aka boost

I want to get a pullie very some i don't know which one i should go with a 2.8 or a 2.9 i have 443 HP and 421 TQ and i run 12.4 at 116 with out pullie now i want to get a pullie and i have no idea which one and what power each one will bring me to. Plz Help :shrug:

Do a search on HotRodHarry. He had a DSG 03 Cobra with a 2.8 pulley.
He sold it and bought a '03 Mach 1, sold that and bought another '03
yellow Cobra. He installed a 2.93 pulley on his 2nd Cobra then later
he changed the 2.93 over to a 2.80 pulley , like his first Cobra had.
CobraBob had a '03 Cobra with a 2.90 pulley and then went to a 2.80
pulley later on.It seems to me that the 2.80 gives more lower end torque
than a 2.9 pulley gives.Then some have installed a 2.76 pulley like

2.magmaflow x pipe and cat's
3. JLP flip chip
4.Solid rear with B/F & steeda short shifter

I put Down 443 HP and 421 TQ

i keep running 12.4 with 2.0 60Foot and i trap at 116
is that what i should be running.
