I finally did it i got a 2.8. i got it installed and tuned today it's a lot of fun to play to LOL. Thank's guy's for all your help.

I worried about how much boost to put on my car like most of you but the one thing that always got me thru the decision… I'm not always into boost. If your worried about over spinning the eaton, take into consideration how often you actually get into boost. After thinking about about it like that… I switched to a 2.76

you have 469 hp and 517 tq what is your set up.

Steeda CAI, BF 2.76, BF Idlers, Amazon Racing Predator Tune, Magnaflow Exhaust and o/r x-pipe. SAE 469hp/517TQ. STD 479/529TQ.

It put down 451hp and 471tq with a 2.93.

Why? If it breaks either way you are going to have to pay for it. You might as well enjoy it while you can.

Red10th your not going to blow your engine unless you do high speed runs and holding the rpms high for 10+ seconds! Most of us dont do that.

Just scared cause i blew my motor up the first time i had it. my cobra had 9000 miles on it and i had a 2.8 with the predoter tune. that's all i had and i blew it up.

443 HP 421 TQ and i had no pullie and it's not ported

i think a 2.76 upper and 6 pound lower would produce crazy #'s, with a port even crazier

After a point, adding more boost to the eaton is pointless. It will generate allot of heat and you'll get very little in return.
