no offense to seller or xavier but if you guys want this car i would suggest seeing it before buying or having a guy with 2 posts from the same area judge it for you. this will save alot of heartache for both parties if the buyer is not satisfied. just my .02 and not trying to start shit.

Wow Ebay Veteran i would say thats why i welcome local inspections, you can come and see the car and drive it, nothing to hide here. car never had suspension damage, frame damage, motor damage, tranny damage, what else can i say, parts replaced were front bumper, right fender and right headlight. how more detail you want me to be, let me try we took the right fender, front bumper, right headlight, then we did bodywork to the inner fender, then we put the fender, front bumper, new headlights, then we prep to paint, then we painted the parts, and thats all.

There you go that wasn't so hard now was it?!?!:poke: If your legit, I am happy. If you had been this descriptive to begin with, the car would already be setting in someone's driveway!!!

Good luck with the sale!!

So for the small amount of damage you posted they totaled this car???

I'm by no means lookin to hurt this guys sale, I think its an awesome deal. I just have a carfax account and ran it, I just copy and pasted what the carfax said. Its deceiving and hard to read since its a copy and paste, its laid out a little different on the carfax page.

They total a guy's Viper for a crack on the hood, it doesn't take much for an insurance to total a car specially if the owner declines the body shop and demands to be fixed at a dealer. dealer charges 140 dlls an hour, we put 5 days of work on this car, multiply that by 8 per 140= $1,120 x 5= $5,600 + parts and materials = Write off, thats when the insurance prefers to pay off the car and then sale it at an auction.

I will be in San Diego on Monday the 22nd of Sept. If anyone wants me to check out the car I will. Hell I might even buy it if the guy still has it. It would be a nice DD.

True that, I have totaled out cars for less that what the cobra had in damage. I wish you were on the east coast I would pick this car up. Hell most cobras I have seen that are salvaged and unrepaired sell for 10-12k I'm suprised this one is still avail

Just by looking at the pics the rt front wheel is way back, the rt qtr still has a buckle at the bottom under the side scoop, the rt door gaps and fender gaps are off, the rt apron was not repaired properly and has overspray on the ac hose. Not bashing the car just stating what I see in the pics for any one who is interested. It still appears to be a good deal since non repaired cobras sell for almost that. I would have personally fixed it better and documented everything with pics and it would have already sold probably even for more. Here is a pic of one that I fixed and it sold for 19k last year. Good luck with the sale.

I think the wheel is either turned or just towed out , causing it to look like its setting back...but I may be wrong.
