That fitting is what I used to route the fuel lines towards driver side/regulator. The fitting in oil pan is for turbo oil return. Doing it like that so both valve covers can be vented.

Ran into a snag last night when I started running the hot side for the turbo kit. The new k member has some bracing where the stock one didn't so the pass side pipe and the downpipe no longer fit. Ordered some straight piping, 45* bends and 90*s so we should be able to take out some of the crappy bends that hellion did. Just a short delay. Should be done this weekend for sure.

Fired up first attempt. Has one leak that I thought it would have. I bent a heater hose line when I was trying to get fuel rails to fit and of course its leaking. Everything else looks fine.

Motor sounds perfect. The exhaust sounds pretty awesome as well, as we just have a 90 aimed straight down off the turbo for now. Have to order some oval pipe or figure some other way to route it. But itll just have to sound like a fighter jet for now.

Such a relief off my shoulders to have it this close now.

Few pics of the pipes we redid. As you can see theres not much left of the actual hellion kit. We took out quite a few of the bends and made the driver side all 2 1/2in versus 2 1/8th. Should help with the flow and backpressure issues.

Got the front end and stuff put back on tonight. Waiting patiently for that heater hose line to show up tomo so I can get it all buttoned up and start datalogging.

Don't mind some of the lines, hoses, etc in the pics as most of these were still in the mock up phase before I went back over everything.

Well I got my heater hose line I was waiting on which fixed my leak. Got the car all put together and off the lift finally. Only to find out it has a oil leak from what I believe is coming from behind the flexplate. I went from all smiles to rage in about 4.2 seconds. Going to pull trans tomo and try to reseal wherever the leak is coming from.

Trying to stay positive, as everything else is perfect. No leaks from anything else, exhaust doesn't hit, open downpipe sounds awesome, the circle d converter feels like a stock one just pulling in and out of shop.

Hopefully I can get it fixed tomo and the new tune uploaded. Then start datalogging and getting ready for the dyno.

Snapped a few pics while it was in daylight for first time in 2 months.

Have any pictures of the piping clearance with the car on the ground?

Just one from mock up. I'll try to get a few tomo. Its got about 3 to 3.5in of clearance. The lowest point is centered with the middle of rim so that should help it with bumps and stuff.

Cool! Definitely post up, I'm curious! Looking forward to the final results!

cant tell from the pic, but is the gate going to put out any flames towards the front tire? Or do you have a dump tube for the gate?

Thanks everyone. Im excited to see what itll do to. More excited just to drive it. The wg is aimed almost a 45 degree angle down and out. No harm to tire.

The leak ended up to be the lack of a rear main seal. It was out of the rear cover when I got engine back and I guess I just had a brainfart When I reassembled it. Didnt even notice the lack of a seal there. Also didnt help being my first mod motor build. Oh well live and learn. Will be on the road tomo as soon as I get trans stabbed back in and tune loaded.

That's good it wasn't anything major and the motor had to come out. I'm ready to see some track times out of it.

So got the new rear main installed tonight along with the trans, driveshaft, etc etc Got to take the car out for the first time in 2 months. Put 50 miles on it with not a single problem. Did the first round of data logs for BBR. Can't wait to get the tune all dialed in so we can see what she will do.
