Ozzy what's your 60foot time? I'm in Miami too if you need help.

Man this forum doesnt tell you that anyone replied.... thanks for the reply here is everything going on.

2013 A6
3.15
So comparing the Bama Race Tune to the Bama Hybrid tune to the Stock is below.
Same factors are still on the car, 20" vossens, 295/35/20 rear 275/35/20 front Nitto Invos when comparing the race vs hybrid vs stock.
Offroad xpipe and suspension 1" drop, bmr lcas, bmr Pan Hardbar, Steeda HD Mounts and Koni yellows. This was done after the car was tuned.
Improved in everything!!!! but the 60ft is behind with the hybrid tune:/ lol
is .100 really what i should expect for gains at the track with a tune?

Im launching the car at idle (holding brakes, release and press on gas when light turns) Has worked the best for me.

Race vs Hybrid vs Stock (235/50/18 All Season Tires)
2.182 60ft 2.130 2.066
66.17 Speed 67.70 66.35
5.694 330 ft 5.548 5.555
86.10 Final Speed 87.45 86.33
8.555 Elapsed Time 8.342 8.410

What do you think? Gears are going to solve this 60ft issue? Im going to the track with the 275/60/15 mt streets radials next week, lets see what happens. Or tuning with someone else?

The drag radials will make a big difference. Your 60' should drop to at least 1.90's..if you're only going to do 1/8th mile, then get some gears. If you're going 1/4 mile. You'll really have to think about what direction you want to go the with car. Casper and WBT post on a few forums with a lot of discussion and debate over 4.10's and 3.31. I would check the YouTube videos and other forums, then decide which mods to go with. IIRC Power by the Hour is in Florida. Ken works with Lund, I would have them tune it. AED, Brenspeed and JPC have good e-mail tunes too.

Well im back! I went to Homestead 1/8 and ran 8.3 with my 295/35/20 rear 275/35/20 front at 75 degress. 2.0 60'

Then County Line (86 degress) with the 1/8 mile and ran 8.211 best time. My 60' was 2.0 and ran 8.2 all night!!!! that was with littles up fronts and m/t street radials 275/60/15 at 24-16 lbs psi.
Car hooked great and i felt like it was 7s but it didnt.... considering a new tune, maybe BBR or Power by the hour but i might need more mods. I wont be doing a converter so maybe gears (4.10)? or boss mani with jlt intake? also considered a driveshaft aswell, and possibly the only thing missing on the list would be headers

I run 3.73s with a 305/35/19 drag radial and they work pretty good on motor and nitrous. It runs consistent 11.7xs @116-118mph (NA) and drivability is still good. I do run my regular Nitto 555s a lot for normal driving but traction is non existent! Works good on the MTs though! I mainly went went the 3.73s because of the Boss IM, otherwise I would have probably went 3.31 or left the 3.15s in.

1/8 improved to 8.211
Temperature is still 82 degrees with a **** load of humidity

Right now my car is shifting @

2nd: 6457

Ozzy, like he said...those shift points are way too low. With stock gears, you shouldn't be shifting to 4th. That's what is holding you back. I don't know if you can raise them yourself with Bama tunes or not. I would check with PBH though. Just my opinion but the Bama tunes are like the Costco of tunning... Since you had the Race tune, I took for granted your shifts were at least 7000 already... With those raised, you'll see some nice gains.

You should be shifting at least at 7000. You need a new tune. Check out VMP.

the nitto 305s were 28.8 tall and with 4.10s was perfect(18mpg)around town and 23hwy,
I just went to a all drag setup with 275/60/15 mt, ,,I have not made it back just waiting on cooler weather.
if you go 3.73 or 4.10 go with 27-28 inch tires,, stock I think the tires are 27inch,
if you can swing it just get the converter.:burnout:

Ozzy, contact Shaun @ AED and have him dial in a tune for you. Your transmission is shifting far to low in RPM. You should not be leaving 3rd gear in the 1/8th mile with stock gears.

In Northwest Florida, with the same heat a humidity, my car has never gone faster than 8.1 @ 89 mph.

That's with AED drag tune, DSS driveshaft, stock CAI & manifold, stock converter, offroad H pipe, resonator delete, Magnaflow mufflers, stock 3.15 gears, 19 forgestar wheels, street tires, and full BMR suspension setup with Strange single adjustables. I built the suspension first in this car, as I know me. Power will come. It's better to have the foundation built first.

Now I have a Circle D converter and about to order SVE drag wheels with radials and skinnies. Time to cut weight and ET at the track.

I think its the intune not bama, supposedly they were set to 7000 and i data logged and sent them the file. They're trying to see what happen, i think i want an sct.

Called Justin today, he said the rpms were low but not necessarily should i expect 11s with his tune and my setup. Im doing a 1.5 drop now and im getting either 26 or 27" tires for daily, changing a couple cosmetic mods and i should be at the track again beginning of december. I will stay with my lils and bigs (275/60/15) tho, if i do get an sct i think my problem will be solved to be honest. I can try other ppls tune and compare to see which i like better. maybe ill even spray at least a 75 hot to get out of the whole.
