Nah, they were both WOT when they passed the camera. The camaro hit the brakes after the GT500 "GOT HIM" like the smoke "GOT" Sweet Brown.....Aint nobody got time foe dat!! :lol1:
You can hear them both on the gas even though the back ground music was loud. They should have cut the music out when the horns started plowing. Still a great video!!
Im on the GT500's side, but at first i thought the ZL1 had a passenger, and i was gonna mention it. After a closer look, i saw there was no passenger. If the race would have been 100 more yards, the GT500 would have probably put 2 more car lenghts on the ZL1.
I think the GT500 came around the ZL1, but is that what you boys really consider getting freight trained? One car +/-?
Jumped or not, you chase you race. The way everyone acts around here the ZL1 have done by the 330. I think this video just goes to show how important the driver is.

Yep, it also shows that ZL1 vs. Shelby is NOT evan a driver's race. To your point, even if the GT500 owner blows the launch AND give the ZL1 driver the hit, the GT500 is driving away at the 1/8 mile mark like a bad dream. Nothing new here.
Exactly. This has been shown true on numerous occasions now. Either way the zl1 is not a total slouch like some people wish on this site.
An auto car taking the hit and then people are surprised how he "held off" the Shelby for so long hahaha.

Lets wrap this up, you'll find a lot more gt500's and people willing to spend 50k vs 120K for a corvette. You would even buy a CTS-V before a zr1 lets be real. Even a rich man that isnt a die hard chevrolet fan can see that.
