I honestly think Ford is crushing it with the new truck line up
Its not awful.
I like the idea of the 40mpg Hybrid version, but then you give up a ton of capability, as in, towing capacity is cut in half.
I wonder what kind of mpg the 2.0 turbo AWD version gets?
Might be an acceptable (and super boring) daily commuter so that I can stop racking up the miles on my 7.3L Tremor.
The escape does 23/31 with that powertrain.
Maybe knock 1 or 2 off of it to be safe?
It's only $1000 more for the proper slush box and the 250hp, I think that would be the one to have.
I like it. All the truck I really need 99% of the time.
It's a nice urban truck, it'll sell.
Yep, and it has a bottle opener!
Same as my grill, the bottle opener sells it. Not trusting a cvt, I'll go with the non-hybrid. Perfect for what I need, enough to haul around some lawn and garden stuff, enough space for some lumber. Small enough for the dishwasher to do double duty as a car wash.
towing numbers are certified bullshit...
return of the mini truck, its about time! $20k is a great price. can see the ecoboost with a few options hitting $30k though. then a Raptor version for $50k lol.
May have just found my next work vehicle.
that did jump out at me about pulling that camper, maybe if the driver weighs 100lbs, no gear and half tank of fuel. Or its the lightest, shittiest trailer ever
1500 pounds of towing what a joke this is what our country is coming to make the sissy truck that can’t haul its own ass look cool.
Now if they just made it with two doors and longer bed
looks like an F150 and a honda ridgeline had a miscarriage
For the sake of my Ford stock, which I bought @ $ 1.49,.....
..........I hope they sell a million of them..
Is this smaller than the SportTrac? I would guess so since it's smaller than the new Ranger. Honestly, this is exactly what my 62 yr old mom needs. She likes to pull her little "glamper" all around and has a full size Silverado now but doesn't love it. If that 4000lb towing capacity is legit, then I'm going to convince her to get one. Looks like a home run for exactly what everyone has talked about above
It's going to be damn near the size of the current Ranger, which is a great truck.
I'm not down with it being made in mexico...
I envision a higher than normal depreciating problem child that will cause headaches for owners.
