+1 :thumbsup:ponygt65 said:As for the 427 being one cubic inch off, if you knew the differences between the 427 Side oiler, 428 CJ, 428 SCj, and the 428 PI, you wouldn't say only one cubic inch.
TacticalKaos said:Like I said, maybe it didn't have the 427 or the 428 but I know I beat him regardless. I don't think it would be hard for a 400+ AWHP STi to pull on one anyway but I could be wrong. What are their typical quarter times?

in the pony, yeah. I dunno, personally, it seems like a very well balanced car, just from what i've been told. It's not brutally kill yourself fast, but it'll hustle. just from what I've been toldponygt65 said:Funny. I have that motor sitting in my driveway.
I think his car may be mythical....Seancass said:so wait, you guys lost me at 427 cobra jet. did this guy race a mustang or a cobra. when talking old cars, there is a huge difference. i do know the difference, i just want to hear the guy say which he raced. it doesnt really matter if its an origional cobra or a home made anyway. either can be wicked fast.

my dad used to have an original 69 mach 1 428 SCj....that thing was fast as freakin hell. I have a friend who has an original Shelby GT 500 with the 428 and he would smoke me!!! If this car really had that engine in it then he was spinning the hell out of his tires.
