well, im looking for a job, i was working with my dad, i had $1500 saved and also i collect diecast cars, i spent all my cash and that was bad to do, i was planning on buying a 5.0 lx but things didnt work out, i dont even have my license, only a id lol, i guess soon it'll be a svt cobra

This is my first SVT. I've like the Lightning since they first came out. I've always owned trucks. I'm trying to get it in the 12.50's range. Just gotta make the dough.

All i have is exaust on it. I'm looking for a CAI kit...but haven't made up my mind on which one. I've been to Thinder Racing a few times checkin the place out. But they specialize more in Camaros and T/A's

SVTman, i deal exclusively with Thunder. 1) its hometown guys that own it. 2) prices are comparable to anywhere mail order and 3) Me and the guy that has the Harley Lightning are good friends (we changing pulley on it this weekend). Next time your in the area, and wanna swing by, ill introduce you to David. They do deal mostly with LS-1 and LT-1 cars, but they are trying to break more into ford stuff. Working with me and a couple other 03 guys, and a couple of Lightning owners developing packages and such. The current 03 package on the site is the one i have :lol:

Benaa, I know David already. He has offered me a good deal on the Predator programmer that I WILL take him up on. And yes, they are very kewl bunch of guys. They just know alot more bout GM products than they do the bad blue ovals. Or maybe they just stock stuff for them all. They treated me really well over there and i was impressed with the shop. When i went into there, they didn't really know of anyone who was fixxin Lightnings up. When i come into town, i'll be sure to give you guys a holla!! Peace!

Hum......... My wife and I go there pretty often. I think I may have met you before. I was at the bar by the dance floor and I was talking to the guy about my Cobra. He told me that he was thinking about getting either a Dodge and supercharging it or an SVT. I told him that if I were him I would go with the SVT. This had to have been about a year and a half ago. That was me. I bought a Lightning. A used car dealership here locally had one and made me an offer i couldn't pass. So i traded in my 5-speed, 318 single cab, Dakota on it. Best decision i've ever made.

You haven't been back dude. I remember ya talking about the car a little. How's it going? I'm in Baton Rouge every once in a while. Might have to meet up with the rest of these guys and grab a beer or two.

It is going great here. I have been there quite a few times since I talked to you, but I guess you were not working those days. We usually stay down the road at the Rivage, but I like the Presidents since I win the most money there.

I would be up for a Hooters run or something one day. I actually live in Denham Springs, but I'm pretty close to the Interstate.
