I do not have any messenger software. The Cobra is running okay. I'm getting a little blower surge right now and I'm in the process of getting that straight. But, I'm pretty sure of how I'm going to fix that. My plan is to push it until I get 600 at the rear. I have not had it on a dyno since the numbers in my sig and that has been a long time ago, and MANY mods ago.

Sounds like you need to get the surge straight and take it to Thunder Racing or something.

can goto yahoo . com and d/l the messenger. Small file...easy to install. Better than message tag on here.

My wife would kill me if she seen me on a messenger. :(

The guys at Thunder are pretty cool. But, there is a place right down the road that I heard has a dyno and that will be where I will bring it next time. But, it needs to be retuned and I will bring it to JMS for that. So, I will be staying at the Rivage whenever that happens. Hiow is your truck doing?

My baby is crying, so I need to step away for a bit.

Am doing fine. I am looking for a place to tune my L. It runs great, but i want mid 12's

My buddy here has a 91LX that JMS built. With the numbers your talking about, you might give him a run. He has a sleeper. I like it though. He outruns me by bus lengths.

Wife would kill you?:nono::nonono::shrug:

Thats cool. My wife hates when I'm on the computer and seeing me talk on a messenger would make me have a bad night.

The place I'm talking about with the dyno is in Walker and the name starts with an F. I know the name, but can not even come close in spelling it. I just found out they had a dyno from Kino (an 03 Cobra guy on this board).

Hey Benaa. I see you are a Process Tech. I used to do the same type of work around here. What plant are you at? My wife and I both work at Dow.

I have never brought this car to the track. In fact, I hardly ever even drive it. I spend most of my spare time playing around in our 4x4. The best track is not close to where I live and gettng out there for a tune night is very hard to do. I just have fun driving it from time to time. I will bring it out to the track one day.........

No Problem is the best around. It is not close to where I live though, and I drive 35 miles one way to work everyday. So, it is not easy for me to do all of that.

Well, ya might run into some good volunteers for a race along the drive out to the track. You must have a daily driver vehicle also.

And also, i ran into someone i used to go to high school with and he works at Dow. He drives a silver Lightning and is often at Thunder Racing. He has a Z-28 that he was putting exaust on. Sound familiar? His name is Michael. I know there are alot of people who work at Dow.

Yea, we have a Honda Accord for a daily driver and we ride to and from work together. So, it works out great for us.

Does this guy work for Dow or is he a contractor? I have never seen a Lightning in the division before. 95% of the contractors park in a parking lot that I do not go into (and is not in the division). Next time you talk to him, ask him what plant he works at in the division.

I'm sure there are quite a few road races going on the trip to NPR. :burnout:

DUDE, my brother has a silver lightning, a z-28 (although its FAR beyond just exhaust now, and knows Geoff at TR VERY well). But he works at Exxon as a Mechanical Engineer. Ill PM you.

I'm sorry Poiznus, i made a mistake. It's Benaa's brother i was thinking of. And he works at Exxon. If i would have been smart, i would have tried to go to school for something where i might have been able to get a job at a plant. Good money in them. But instead, i moved to Mississippi and became a bartender in a casino. Not too bad as far as money considering i never went to any college. But i would like to still live where i am from....and Baton Rouge will always be my home!!!

The dyno shop you guys are thinking of in Walker is Called Futral MOtorsports. His shop is super easy to get to off the interstate. Just take the Walker exit and get in left lane. When you see the Auto Zone, make a left and his shop is right behind it.
