Found some unpleasant surprises today first time out with the car..
So with what I have wrong with my paint, OP did you get anywhere yet and if so who did you contact etc?
The dealership has inquired with Ford and I have the option of getting the hood and fenders redone at a local shop. The weather here is terrible and the car hasn't been abler to be moved be moved, I'm waiting till later this week to transfer it to the body shop. Yes I could refuse and screw the dealership over but they have been very good to me and I can't really drive the car yet. I will be meeting with the body shop to make sure the process is to a certain standard.

Yep. I'd raise hell with my dealer and Ford for diminished value now, especially if you paid an ADM.So you’ll have a Carfax with paintwork now? That sucks on a new car.

Exactly. It will be sanded and prepped just as if it had been in an accident. That's a lot of paint work and it won't match at different angles from texture to color..that would annoy the heck out of me.Yep. If you ever try to sell it you will lose some money there
This is in Calgarywhere in Canada OP? I don't typically care about imperfections but yea, that would be a no go for me
If I walk. Dumping the car just isn't good business and it's not the dealers fault.just out of curiosity, how would the dealer get screwed if this is a warranty / delivery issue from Ford?
