I just did a quote on my 2019 Genesis 3.3 AWD Sport (4,400 miles) and got an offer of $34,912. On other sites, the price averages around $42,500. That's a big difference, but Carvana doesn't show the Sport option which explains some of the difference. You have to be careful that when you go through the quote process that you see your specific model listed as an option. If it doesn't show, your quote is going to be artificially low or high depending on which model you select.
Am I the only one that enjoys negotiating with the dealership? I absolutely hate the idea of set prices on vehicles....f that.

Really? Out of curiousity, why do you enjoy negotiating? Do you do it in person, or over the phone/email?
That's crazy.I know this was not in reference to me. But i personally like negotiating too. Ive had good luck with it. Normally communicate in person and by phone/txt. In my area prices vary greatly between dealerships. Even ones with the same ownership group the prices will be hugely different. Ive been able to save thousands just by talking with different dealerships on the same vehicle.
My experience has been from the price of the vehicle to the trade in value greatly changes between dealerships.
Doubtful.Wonder if now I’m in Texas if they would offer more for my Shelby ... hmmm
That's crazy.

What??Reason #763 why Car Dealers are DINOSAURS! They won't be around much longer...
Doesn't matter really (to me) whether it's easy or time consuming. What DOES matter to me is the bottom line quote. I've got better things to do with my time so a service that pays top dollar with a minimal amount of my time invested is a win-win for me. Carvana has my attention.I enjoy the interaction, I enjoy feeling like I got a deal, I enjoy building relationships because shit happens and it's good to have some report with the dealership. I always go in person. I always do my homework and know when to stay or walk.
It's part of the game for me. Buying a car, to me, should not be the same as going to target and buying deodorant.
I tried to get an offer from Carvana on my '18 Megacab cummins. Last page said I stumped them and they had to contact an appraisal expert and then didn't hear anything again.
