Don't see why it wouldn't work. You'll need a bell housing correct input shaft for the LS Engine.I have a 2000 v6 that I am in the process of LS swapping. Was wondering if anyone had swapped a t-56 out of an 03-04 cobra and used the stock mount. If not, any recommendations on a good swap crossmember?
Why? If your gonna LS swap use the T56 from LS. Its already a 26 spline.
I was going to go that route but they have a hydraulic clutch. I could get pre 98 and be manual, Thinking about doing that.
Yes, the 94-97 is .50 6th gear I believe. There T56 was actually stronger and different gear ratio. Its actually nice to run 4.10s, 4.30, 4.56 with that trans. .50 6th gear
Thank you! Do you know if that is the one that has been discontinued?stifflers also makes a bolt in cross member for the T56 with a drive shaft loop
