Agreed. I think it is due to the unknowns surrounding the engine swap and the SRA. Personally I think the IRS is one of the defining components of the Terminator and without it the car loses a key aspect to its uniqueness. Now I fully understand the drag racer that feels the need to put lots of power down and wants the SRA but I am not one who would build a drag racer from a Cobra, but that's just me.
As for the "CO tax", sure with only 281 coupes, it's there. The color for me was a way to raise leukemia awareness in memory of my wife's battle and honestly I had no idea it was so rare until I started looking for one.
FWIW, I paid less than what they're asking for my convertible and it had just under 20K miles when purchased. So they are certainly asking "all the money" in my opinion.
