Perfect.

And I put in 2 more hours last night. I finished laying all the Dynamat down, except for the doors. I want to get some of the interior back in before I attack those. I also spent about an hour removing the gasket from the rear window and then cleaning the snot out of it. The body shop told me I'll definitely have my stuff by the end of the week, so I'll be busy this weekend.

Chris it looks like you did an outstanding clean install on the Dynamat. I can't believe thats the same console you got off e-bay you have been busy. Very nice. To bad you didn't have a Db meter to do a before and after.

I'm sure it will be a noticeable difference. Just tapping on the top of the roof before and after it's unbelievable how dense it feels now.

I'm really happy with how the console ended up.

Its funny my first thought when I saw the latest pics was: Man the next owner of that truck is gonna trip when he peels back some carpet and sees that! Sucks that we cant take it with us eh? :)

Grip, At this rate there will never be a next owner of this truck. But, one of the reasons I documented it is on the off-chance I do sell it, I can show the next owner what I did.

(1) #20455 Bulk pack, (3) #10435 Door kits, & (2) #20445 Tri Paks.

If I had it to do over I would have bought 2 Bulk packs and 2 or 3 Door kits.

Chris-

Whats the difference between the 10455 & 20455 packs?

Also... what do you know about Fatmat deadener? its only .045" thick, where as the Dynamat is .067" thick... BUT you can get 100 Sqft for $99....

just a thought...

$ $ $ $ $ $

Here's the pricing. I think I'll be pretty competitive:

#20455 Dynamat Xtreme Bulk Pak (36 sq. ft)- $199

#20445 Dynamat Xtreme Tri Pak (12 sq. ft)- $79

#10435 Dynamat Xtreme Door Kit (12 sq. ft)- $79

#10007 Dynamat Rubber 1.5" Roller - $15.00

Like I said earlier I used 1 Bulk Pack, 3 door kits, and 2 Tri paks. I like the sheets in the door kits because they are longer and narrower than the sheets in the Bulk pack & tri Paks. It would be easiest and most cost effective to buy 2 Bulk paks and 2 door kits.

2 Bulk packs, 2 Door kits, & 1 Roller = 96sq. ft. $571.00

1 Bulk Pack, 3 door kits, 2 Tri packs, & 1 Roller (what I did) = $96sq. ft. $609.00

This was enough to do the Floor, Back wall, Roof, behind speakers, and Doors.

We accept Visa/MC/Amex/Disc.

I could be wrong but I think they are the same in different packaging.

I don't know about the Fatmat. The reason I went Dynamat is because we used it on my Dad's street rod and it made a big difference.

I was just reading to stay far far away from fatmat! Be cautious here apparently it sticks like shit (falls off) and is really gooey. lizard skin (I think is what it was called) is good. Check www.caraudioforums.com Im considering doing it too.

Also, becareful of buying it on Ebay. I bought............no wait...........I paid for 100 sq feet of the Fatmat and after two months it never showed. The guy on EBay that sells it has like four different accounts and they all start to say after awhile that it takes forever to get (4 to 5 weeks). The pecker never even responded to my emails after it was "destroyed" in transit.

FYI - I've had it on the underside of my roof for about a week now and there is no signs of loosening up.
