After reading about those freaks of nature Cobras that pull 370-390 to the wheels, I was really hoping for the same. Nope...

All the car would muster was 345hp and 340tq.(done on a dynojet) With no cool down, and going from 4th gear @ 2000 rpm........

Wasn't too sure about the 4th gear start instead of 3rd...I was under the impression that it's usually alwasy done from 3rd.

Installing the Borla Stinger tomorrow.... hopefully it'll improve the numbers quite a bit with more cool down time and a exhaust.

At least take out air silencer if you haven't done so already. That netted me 25rwhp instantly.

What's your boost at? (and yes I know the stock gauge is garbage, I'm curious).

Air silencer is gone...

Stock guage pegs immediately and stays there. I know when driving while it's 50 or below it'll go past the 10 mark.

Something doesn't seem quite right. How many miles?

Car runs strong...runs a lot stronger than my Lightning did with just a chip, and that dynoed at 377hp 4xxtq

Ran a 13.6@105 with 2.2 60' at a 2800+ elv. track....

Which to me would seem that it's making more power than what it did.
:bash:

Dynojet......

I'm thinking about going to another dyno and double checking...
Talked with a friend, and he said the dyno isn't calibrated correctly.....but that's just rumor as of now to me.

Your numbers are a bit low, especially for your mileage but remember these cars stock have ranged from low 350 to high 380 rwhp (SAE).

Agreed, 4th is the correct gear... I dyno'd mine in 4th starting from 2,000 rpm and pulled 387 RWHP stock.

How high did you push your RPM's?

Yeh, I remember my first dyno pull when it was brand spanking new. 363 rwhp. I was disappointed. That was a long time ago! I love these cars.
