There has been some local buzz about all the different stragedy's that ford puts on the ECU's and how some actually perform better than others...does anyone know if this is true? I would assume tuners would know best.

If so id definately would want the best stragedy on my car

if anyone knows anything, id appreciate feedback:beer:

I'm curious why ecm's with different strategies (all for the coyote) cost different amounts, about a 60 dollar spread between some of the different strategy ECMs.

S-tragedy might actually be a better spelling than strategy on some of these, my 12's strategy was prone to getting blanked by the SCT handheld.

I have a short list of 'preferred' strategies due to the extreme variance in performance.

Are you stuck with one strategy from the factory?

If say I get strategy X from the factory and its the worst can you change it to strategy A when I get a tune from you?

Also can I use one handheld to tune two cars if I purchase 2 tunes?

You are not stuck with a particular strategy code with SCT. Diablo, yes.
An SCT tuner can change strategies.

Your really making me think about getting a tune now. I think I will wait til 8-10k miles to get one though just in case something is a factory defect in the motor and they void the warranty.

Thanks Shaun!
