I Luv burnin 100 octane Leaded AvGas in my muscle boat too :-D
they even sell it at the car pumps in Lake Havasu, Arizona. pull your boat in on a trailer and fill up and race down the river at 100+ mph as their are no speed limits on the water. they even have floating bars on barges and you can have open containers on boats :beer:

You can't get a good look at all the naked college girls jumping up and down on the rafted boats.
It's way better than a strip club.
No emissions or inspections of any kind here in SC. Nobody ever has to look at your car if you don't want them to! :beer:

I took your question to my local emission testing shop. He said that during OBD test on 1996 & newer, he was instructed to use the probe, but he agrees that some other shops do not use it and the tester still passes the cars.
This was the first year I had my cars tested, so I really have no history for comparison. In reading the Nevada web site, it states that the OBD II port is the only connection required for the test, does not mention any tailpipe probe being required, so likely it is not required. Sorry for the confusion.
