A lot of haters on here. A Lincoln and Escalade may be luxurious, but they will never be as fun to drive as a Cayenne Turbo. Literally you hit a button and the suv raise up and is in 4x4 mode, hit another button and it lowers a couple of in inches and you are in performance mode and the transmission shifts different, the throttle response is completely changed and your ready to rock and roll. If you want to cruise down the highway in comfort not feeling any bumps, then there is a mode for that too. The fact that it can tow 7500# is just a bonus. I don't know many other performance vehicles that are as versatile. As far as reliability, go look at sixspeedonline and Rennlist and research the reliability and towing capabilities.
Yeah, the haters obviously don't know anything about the Cayenne. The thing has an offroad mode and locking differentials! It also has a tow mode. And speaking of towing, did you know its tow rating is just 300 lbs less than a crew cab Raptor? Did you know its tow rating is 1700 lbs more than the standard cab Raptor?? It has a tongue load rating of 775 lbs. Looping back to the offroad thing, someone asked who would want to risk damaging a Cayenne offroad. Probably the same type of person who would risk damaging an $80K Raptor offroad. There are plenty of videos on Youtube of people beating the crap out of Cayennes offroad. Some of it on some extreme terrain.
Yeah, that was posted earlier in the thread. It's a good article and pretty much squelches the whole "it shouldn't be used for towing" argument. It's almost my exact configuration; vehicle and boat. And I wouldn't even be towing it anywhere near as far. But after reading that, I'd be pretty comfortable towing a boat to Lake Lure or down to Lake Marion or Lake Moultrie in SC. Or for that matter, all the way to the Outer Banks.
I linked that to him This thread is so big now.
I know! And it's mostly hater commenters.
