Firey dyno failure of an SVT Lightning

Wow. That has to be a terrible feeling for the owner. What caused the fire?

The weld on the tq converter failed and spewed trans fluid all over the exhaust which caught on fire. The flames were extinguished quickly. The truck and everyone in the shop were fine.

Good to hear it'll be an easy fix and that beast will be ok, a new converter and a little cleaning will have it fixed up. That truck sounds so damn mean!

Shit. I didn't think of that as a possibility. It caught fire so fast I knew it had to be something fairly catastrophic.

Wow, now that sucks! Glad to hear that the truck and everything there in the shop were fine. Scary few seconds there!
