I just heard that peppermint oil on cotton balls helps keep mice and spiders / insects away. I might give it a try.
Usually die on the floor of the garage? Do you really want to risk mice nibbling, hiding in your car, and dying? If they died in the garage 100% of the time, that would be fine. But in your car, hidden? No! The stink of decaying mice would be worse than mouse piss. JMO.I use the Tomcat pellet pouches. The mice nibble them and die soon after. I did find an entire stockpile of the pellets under my wife's Camaro's air cleaner. No mice or damage though. Usually the mice doe on the floor of the garage.
