Got the Cobra tuned at HPP yesterday....

Well... Like the title states, I had Manny up at HPP tune the Cobra yesterday.

It put down 571/500 on Pump and 596/513 Torco.

AFR was a steady 11.5-11.8 across the board on both tunes with about 88 degree's ambient. I was pleased overall with the outcome, had hoped for 580 on pump and 600 on Torco but the warm weather and my lack of patience for a cool down weren't going to allow it. :rolling:

3.65 upper w/ stock lower (16-17lbs)
LFP SB T/B
FRPP 60# inj.
Stock pumps w/BAP

Pretty sure it's because it's a 2.8 blower with very little boost.

Good numbers for not really spinning that blower. I didn't see what timing you were running and the heat doesn't help.

First KB 2.8H I've seen post below 700whp. Not that I've seen alot but it sure seems like they post some big #s.

Yea... Manny seemed to think that with a pulley swap down to the 3.1-2.93 range that it would probably do in the ballpark of 675-700... I'm pretty sure the timing is at 16* on the pump setting and 20-20.5* on the Torco.

You get what you can get with used parts. I was in the market for a twin screw and Jumperjack had a very nice blower for sale that seemed to have been well taken care of......so I bought it. It's obviously a little big for it's britches with the low boost setting, but I'm satisfied with what it put down and I think that I will be greatfull for having purchased such a big one when it comes time for a pulley swap. :banana:

i am not even that... i am unported with exhaust only... however... my room is filled with supporting mods in their boxes... within 6 months i will be with the 580 rwhp gang!!! :burnout:whipple ftw:burnout:
