lol well today i whacked on it in 3rd , it spun so i lifted, went in 4th, when the boost came on boom! bye bye 4th gear... looks like i am going to a tr6060 sooner then later lol

Save the headaches and put an auto in it, it'll be much faster, hook better, and be more reliable.

Btw t56 magnum and tr6060 are virtually the same thing.

believe me i know an auto would be more reliable and cheaper actually, but this is a street car, and i truly love to row the gears... i truly confident that the t56 magnum/tr6060 can handle the power because i have run that much power through them before in my turbo LS applications we build and tune... from my experience you just cant bang on the trans over and over, as the synchros will take a beating... in this case (my stock mt82) i shifted into fourth easy, but once the TQ came on it actually broke the gear..
