sold the SRT8 a few weeks ago, and bought this STi on saturday. i liked the jeep, but i was really starting to miss shifting my own gears... this car is a big change for me, but i like it a lot. the power delivery is much different than i am used to, that's for sure. it's a bit too low low for my taste (and the ride is a bit harsh too), so i already ordered some new springs that will raise it up a tad and improve the ride. i am thinking about removing the front lip too, haven't decided. anyway, the car is '08, 19k miles, stage 2 (turbo back exhaust, CAI, dyno tune). these are pics for the previous owner, i will have better ones soon...

thanks guys... i agree on the steering wheel. it looks great and feels nice on the hands too (alcantara).

Why did the owner sell? What is he replacing it with?
Is this going to be your DD?

I have some questions!!!!

the previous owner bought a new raptor to replace the subaru as his DD. he also has a supercharged c6z06. this car will not be my DD as i have a company vehicle that i drive every day. but, i am expecting my first child any day now so this car will be my family/fun car and it fits the bill nicely. AWD, 4 door, plenty of room with the hatchback, and it's a blast to drive...

A bigger turbo and some mods and these things SCREAM. Awesome steering wheel. Damd is the brand if you're curious. Its a $600-$700 wheel SCORE!

it is lowered on eibach springs, probably about 1.25" lower than stock. these cars don't like to be lowered that much on stock components, so i am swapping out the springs to RCE yellows, which lower the car .6" but the spring rates are matched to the stock shocks/struts. it should ride/handle much better...

i did buy it from a member of iwsti...

nice car! the car is fast as is right now. it dyno'd 302 awhp, 350 awtq. i bet your car does scream... the wheel is actually made by Prova, according to the previous owner.

i see you didnt bother going to the M3 ;-) hahaha

i would have, but i just didn't find one i liked in time. this STi popped up, and i bought it the day it was posted. it works out better for me anyway, being AWD and 4 door.

What's the red things behind the grille? There is a STI in town that have those things behind the grille but I haven't a clue what they are.

Good looking ride.
