I give the crappy OEM IC pump 3 days before it quits. Looking forward to the pics of pepper sludge in it's guts. If it gets crapped up while using coolant/water mix adding pepper can't be much better. Home brew fixes are a laugh, then again so is waiting until over 100k to replace coolant on these cars.

i promised i would bump the thread just for you, after 3 more days. i decided to wait an extra day. today makes the 4th day since your post, and and 11 days since pouring the pepper in. i checked it again this morning, after the 20 something mile drive into work. still not a single drop lost of coolant, and the i/c pump is pumping just as good as it was when i poured the pepper in CLOSE TO 2 weeks ago. im pretty sure, if it was going to cause a problem/sludge it would have happened by now. but then again, as i mentioned i only used about a teaspoon....so not really much went in, that could cause a problem or sludge.

anyway, there is your update, that i promised a few days ago. i try to stay a man of my word, and do what i say i will.

i will make sure to keep the thread updated, if anything DOES change.

Gee, aren't you just God's little ray of sunshine.:rollseyes

Yep, it's called being a realist. Run a search on blown intercooler pumps without introducing pepper to the system. Have a beautiful sunny day friend! :p

Thanks I was loosing sleep over your peppered IC pump. I highly recommend not installing another new OEM pump if that's what you have waiting to go in. There have been multiple members here with multiple OEM pump failures.
