I have a d1 stage ll kit. I'm wondering is the id1000 needed or could I run some smaller injectors and be fine?

Just like terry said just get the ID's and then be done with it. Let me know if you want us to set you up with a set.
Honestly either going with an Fuel Injector Clinic 900cc injector or a ID1000 Injector are the two best options around when it comes to injectors for these cars as they have the flow required to make big power while they offer the best short pulse width characteristics to allow the car to drive like factory.
