What did you use for a drill bit? Did you buy a drilling fixture? If that doesn't solve your problem, you should just buy a solid axle, and call it a day!

Used a good quality cobalt drill bit.
No fixture, just a drill press and a good solid steel vice clamped to the table. Also used lots of coolant to clear the chips. The trick was to peck drill as opposed to trying to go through in one go.
Nope to the SRA. Gonna order up the complete Full tilt boogie bushing kit.
