Hey Guys i wanted to give you a look into a little project we just did. We have a Customer from West Bloomfield, MI. He sent us his brand new 2013 to do some upgrades.

The car came to us with the following

Kooks Long tubes/ off road X pipe / Bassani Axle back

4.10 Gears

Circle D converter (unsure of the exact size)

SCT tuner and tune.

We installed :

Paxton 2200 kit (upgraded to 8 rib)

Injector Dynamics ID1000s

Vortech Boost-a-Pump

Weld RTS wheels

And a custom dyno tune

Here are a few pictures

Part of Rods deal was he really wanted to make sure the shift points were nailed down perfect so we told him the best way to do that is take it to the track. Well since he lives in Michigan and we are in Maryland we had to do it for him. Kevin and Justin loaded up and headed to MIR.

Kevin Drove the car 1.5 hours from the shop to the track, once they got there they let the car cool down for an hour or so.

Not to Shabby for the 1st pass!

Here are the rest of the slips.

Best pass of the day was a 9.87 not too shabby for a 100% street car. That was driven to the track. Only weight reduction was the wheels and tires!

BTW this was all done on stock suspension!

The car made 730 on race gas. Here is the dyno video.

Awesome, saw this on Facebook yesterday!

I did have a question though, that car should pull like a frickin rocket up top. Any idea as to why it only picks up between 20 -25 mph on the big end? I was thinking about that yesterday when you were posting up the slips.....

Well the car was actully running out of gear on the top end. Hit the rev limiter at about 1100 feet. not to mention Kevin has a Air intake temp saftey factor in the tune since it is a stock block making 730. Its basically pulling a bunch of timing in 4th gear to try and help keep the engine alive!

Good looking though most people would not even notice that.

I was thinking the same thing. Seems like it shouldve trapped a little more than that. Maybe to much gear? At any rate, nice run! Paxton ftw!

These auto cars sure look tame running 9's. Just moves out, no drama for such low 60's. Hooray for 9 second street cars

Now where's WBT at to debate that the 9.87 doesn't count because the slip wasn't posted? Yep, he just likes to bag on AED.
