I got this from the VMP site. Seems like you may be boosting more than you thought since the 75mm shows as a 13psi pulley.

85mm - 9psi
82mm – 10psi
79mm – 11-12psi - (72# Injectors minimum requirement at this level)
75mm – 13psi - (72# Injectors minimum requirement at this level)
72mm – 14psi - (72# Injectors minimum requirement at this level)
69mm – 15psi - (72# Injectors minimum requirement at this level)
66mm - 16psi - (8-rib conversion required)
63mm - 17psi - (8-rib conversion required)

Damn... It's like her little heart fell out... so sad.

Judgin' by his mods he was probably making 450-453 HP at the wheel at least. I stand by this statement.

Welp. Time to go engine shopping!

How would he only make 450
With a blower
And it's pullied too
That's way to low

Yeah about a year ago it didn't say that, 75mm is suppose to be 10.5lbs with stock intake

Yep. My 2.750in (73mm) 2.3l Whipple around 13lbs. I also always mix race fuel and/or torco.

OP: Sorry for the loss, hopefully most of the parts are reusable.

It's obviously boost related ,15 psi is too much on the stock Block this just proves it even more. I've called Roush, Ford Racing basically everyone under the sun who would know and they all said no more than 12 psi on the stock bottom end if you want it to live a while. That's why I'm just gonna be happy where I'm at.

I'm looking at a Roush myself. What setup are you currently using?

OP while the sleeved blocks are awesome i dont think that for the roush tvs power levels it is a worthy investment. i would just pick up a short block and either try to save the heads or get new cylinder heads and max out the roush tvs and call it a day. it will be reliable and fun as hell.

Maybe but I will do it right the first time. When you build the bottom end with forged rods & pistons the stock sleeves are the weak point. I plan on porting the TVS & running 20-22lbs of boost with it & cams. Plus running a Alky Control 100% methanol injection system. So the power should be up there. Might even throw some NOS after the build just to she want she will put down.

Not meant as a slam, but I can't help but think we are going to see a thread similar to this one in the future.
