Bought a 2000 saleen. Today with 2.1 he said. Not sure pulley size gauge shows 6-7lbs, has 302 stroker,9.5 compression, ported heads and Voodoo cams. . It sure does lope. .. Bbk shorties and offroad X pipe with 3:73 gears. no power numbers either. ... Wanting to get 550-600rwhp. Can it be done with what i have? im thinking of selling 2.1 and maybe motor. .. Might go T trim and pump gas and get numbers if thr 2.1 cant do it

In order to get the number you want out of the 2.1, you will need to do the inlet upgrade. That involves getting a kb inlet for a 2.2/2.6/2.8 and then you will need a spacer under the blower. This also involves a new cai, throttle body, iac valve, throttle amd cruise control cables. Then obviously you will need to pulley it down to get 18-20 psi out if it

Anyone running aftermarket idlers?

I've been looking into getting 2 smooth billet flow idlers to match my blower pulley but don't really have the room for a 90mm

Bumping this thread, as I have a question and one of you guys might be able to answer.

I'm looking for a KB pulley for 11 psi for my 1.7kb. Anyone know what size pulley that would be?

Just want to give a small kick in the pants, ive had it at 9 psi for years now and I would mind another 15 to 20hp. Thanks.

You would need to go 1/4inch smaller than what you have now.

Bumping this back up!

Heres the most current setup, KB 2.6L 3.25 pulley.

Made 520rwhp/466rwtq on the dynop with the clutch slipping like a bitch!

Swapping ou the clutch and flywheel, modding the fpdm, installing the smaller pulley and then back to the dyno we go!
