Same; I know they don't often do much, but this is one of those times that I'm all about getting behind big businesses and corporations to stop the government from extending its power (again).

I am getting pissed trying to log onto wiki and craigslist. wtf

If this gets passed there's a damn good chance that there won't be a Craigslist in a few months.

I'm not in the loop but hasn't the Obama administration been opposed to these bills? So if congress passes them and the bills come to his desk for his signature, won't he just deny them?

Absolutely NOT! The Obama administration is 100% BIG government - major socialist agenda! As I stated way back on page one, this bill is one giant leap towards absolute societal control as well as for the advancement of a one world governance.

Americans are already SATURATED with (FAR) left wing liberal media on a daily basis and are thus too lazy to research the truth themselves. However, to address those that remain motivated towards independence of thought and thus choose to do their own research, what better way to eliminate that "threat" than to exert absolute control of the WORLD'S #1 mechanism of modern-day research - the internet...!

If passed, I believe it will affect sites like Craigslist. Good deals on there, but then again, you better pack some heat, just in case things get iffy. Sometimes, I just want to get out of the states.

What sucks, and what many people who have never been outside of the states don't realize is that it sucks 1000 times worse outside of the states.

Japan sucks, their economy sucks, their laws suck, and basically everything about it sucks. Japan is supposed to be like America with the amount of freedom given it, and not being a 3rd world country. Unfortunately it fails on so many levels.

Americans, please wake the hell up. You people are so dumb when it comes to your own damn country. It's not better anywhere else. Not Germany, not France, sure as hell not in Russia... No other country, not even Australia has the amount of freedom we have in America.

and for the ones that said citizens would not stand up and fight, i think were at a point right now where there is no middle ground in the US and if you ask me plenty are angry enough to stand up for what they believe with weapon in hand. of course not everyone will be involved.

SOPA has been delayed, for now. The House has agreed to revisit the issue next month, but they now know the White House will veto any bill that’s not more narrowly focused.
