How much are you guys getting quotes for to enlarge your garages and install anchor points for the land yacht?
I just drop anchor in the cul-de-sac, and then drive my Mustang to the front door. Much cheaper.

anyone see the 4th of july challenger commercial yesterday??? DAMN...that thing is nothing short of exciting as ****. dodge really knows how to **** with you if you are into power and speed- they make me want to go buy one every time i see their ads anymore. then, and maybe this was a sign (if i believed in signs), i head out of my house to go to a party and a VICIOUS looking black on black Hellcat passes me by going the opposite direction- the sound and presence of that beast cannot be denied every time I see one (which is not all that often). there is NOTHING on the road that comes even close to the excitement that car commands when you see and hear it on the road, IMHO (at least not where i live...there are exotics, germans, etc all over all day every day, but when this goes by you can hear it well before you see it and then when it is visible it just has a wow factor for me- like the 2014 GT500 did when i bought it (and i still get that feeling every time i start it up and take it out))....i truly cannot believe i am saying this about a dodge, but credit is being given where due.
... I think Dodge's real super star is the Charger Hellcat, not a lot of competition and it's a real passenger 4 door car with tons of power, yes please!
Dodge's commercials are definitely appealing to the Fast and Furious crowd. I find them a bit annoying. The way they incorporate the supercharger noises makes them sound like a bunch of irritating gnats or mosquitoes.
The Charger Hellcat makes a little more sense. IMO, if someone is in the super sedan market, i.e. M5, E63S, etc., they'd be remiss not to at least consider looking at the Charger Hellcat. The Challenger Hellcat is a fat hog just dangling out there like an appendix. It's in it's very own niche. That it has any sales success at all is amazing. There's not much of a market for big HP, 4400+ lbs road barge coupes. That said, you still have to give Dodge props for producing them.

That sound is not being superimposed. That is exactly what my car sounds like from the driver's seat, as well as from outside the car. It's pretty awesome.

The possibility of Ford asking $70K+ for the new GT500? It's too much!
Dodge asking upwards of $80K for a Hellcat? No big deal.
Say what??
Reading is fundamental. In other words, the sounds are poorly edited, IMO. FFS, people.
Because Ford will force you to pay a $30k ADM on top of that or wait 3 years?
Then Ford will also use some weird engine/transmission combo that will cost a fortune to repair or rebuild.
Hellcat Factory Short Block is $4k.
I show a GT350 short Block is $9,225
GT500 5.8 OEM blocks are no longer available. Aftermarket rebuilds are $13,000.
Once again, there still is no GT500. If the specified goal is to be competing with GT3s and the new ZR1, well... that’s going to be a stupid expensive car.
