I drove over 200 miles last week driving locally! This is within a radius of 45 miles.

4800 miles. 950 was from the dealer in Kansas back to Salt Lake. I drive it every chance I get but I only have a 9 mile round trip to work and back.
I have had mine since November only 500 on it so far but thats due to weather and working a lot of hours
Let me know when you're up for a cruise. I live in Canton. 9300 miles since 6/18/12. Not my DD.

That's awesome! Bet you have had some great experiences/ memories so far. Sad thing is you racked on as much miles as I have done with my Terminator since March 03, I need to get out on the road more!:beer:
I've met member jsdeweyusmc. Him and his wife are wonderful folks and his car is beautiful. It doesn't look like it has 1,500 miles on it! I'm glad to see them out there enjoying it as much as they do.
I'm at 3,900 now. I drove it 175 miles this weekend cruising around Northern AL. Even dirty (getting ready to clean her up now) my car gets all kinds of attention. Of course the car folks love it, but what is really surprising is the number of older women who at stop lights, gas stations, etc. tell me how beautiful the car is. These are ladies that I would have thought would never notice a car, much less comment about it. Every time I start it up I remind myself how blessed I am to have it and enjoy it. Cheers!
The dealer angle makes sense - I suppose you get to drive a lot of cars on a daily basis. As for some dealers still selling these for above MSRP - it boggles the mind that they get away with it.I have about 75 of the giant GT500 posters in my garage still in the original box from Ford for advertising purposes...if you'd like one let me know.oke:
I'm a dealer. I ordered my 2013 with intent to hold onto it. However, a dealership in Nebraska called and offered $3500 over MSRP for it, so I sold it to them knowing that I could order a 2014. I actually like the options on my 14 a lot better.
We're from different extremes. You've had your car a month and put 2200 miles on it, I have not put 2200 miles on 1 car in a long time. I drive different ones every few days. My Shelby sits in the garage for the occasional cruise and mental release. I honestly enjoy cleaning it as much as I like driving it.
Also since you hit on the resale of these cars not doing too well, contrary to this forum's opinions, there are still dealers out there pulling $5-10k over MSRP for theirs.
You and I both enjoy are cars, just in a different way. :beer:
They'll get away with it as long as someone out there is willing to pay for it.
Truer words were never spoken! Unfortunately, there are many such folks eager to be separated from (more of) their money (than necessary).

Got mine 7/9/12. Oil looked too dark for me by 750 miles of babying it, so changed it & filter, felt better for my amazing beast & started to have a little more fun! 4200 miles of smiles now, coming up on one year!
