Same here as DJTECH: 13.2 when the light comes on. My car has 4:10s and the Magnaflow catted X-pipe. I get 24 @ a steady 75mph, and 17-18 in my daily city/hwy driving. If I minimize shifting and throttle (drive like grandma) -- 2d-gear starts and skip gears periodically, I can just touch 20.

Highway only, ~70 mpg = 24 mpg
To work and back, mixed highway/city = 18-19 mpg

Bolt-ons, 4.88 gears, .59 5th gear.

I used to get 26 mpg on the highway. That was before the supercharger install though. I haven't checked since.

I switched jobs and now do mainly highway driving. I got tired of visiting the gas stations and decided to do a little study. With about 75% highway driving, over the last 8 tanks, I am averaging 17.0 mpg. Not good. That is primarily why I have decided to put her up for sale. I think I am gonna save a minimum of $750/year on gas with my new car.

I hate to see her go, but I gotta do it. I have a 2004 BMW 330Ci on order. Should be pretty nice though: 6 speed, 18" wheels, xenon lights, moonroof and Harmon Kardon 10 speaker sound system.

Update. My gas mileage is not even 20 on the highway anymore. (I'm just guessing because I haven't given a whole tank the chance on strictly highway) Oh well. I average 12 on the street.

My cobra is getting between 17-21 city and 20-27 hwy. My '93 5.0 was getting 8-9. So I am alot happier with my cobra.

100% highway I got 26 mpg doing 90 mph from Cincy to Nashville a month or two ago.....only mod being an offroad X and running rich as hell.

On an average tank I get 17-19 mpg doing 30% highway and 70% city driving.......actually better than my GT used to get.

Just drove from Minnesota to the Black hills and back. Averaged 25 mpg, cruise control set at 85. Still have the stock gears. While in Deadwood sightseeing, averaged just under 20. Around town I get around 16 - 18.

IDK, but I filled it up every day when I was home on leave. That got expensive, but it was worth it.

Its funny to see an old thread that I started, over a year ago, get dug up. Kinda off subject, but are you doing the WDC this year? A few of us from Columbus (10-15) were going to do it this year. Sounds like a lot of fun.
