Got the car running Wednesday night, loaded it Thursday, drove to Dallas and got it aligned and some other issues fixed, then put the first hard pass on it at a runway event first thing Saturday morning. Car ran great, nothing broke or fell off, and it went home driveable!!

Arriving at Runway Rivalry in Rockwall -

RR is a simulated street race/roll race event. You pace to 60 mph, go on green, and have roughly a 1/4 mile give or take of acceleration space. I ran 135-138 over 5 passes, with two being back to back and a .5 MPH spread between them; guess all those cooling mods helped!!

The next day I went to Texas World Speedway to run the last Performance Driving School ever. The track is getting bulldozed after 47 years to make room for some BS housing development.

Well...I broke them all, but it was on purpose. I cut them shorter with a pair of dykes Saturday morning, since it was time for a new set anyways.

LOL, no, they're acrylic. And I didn't want to go inside. You should see the ladies at the nail salon, they use dremels!!
