So the road I travel on to get to work is a back road with deer on it, along with numerous other critters. I saw two deer yesterday but I saw them to late and would have hit them if they had decided to run out in front of me.

I would like to change my bulbs to something a good bit brighter and I would like the bulbs to be white. Can someone give me some insight on what I should get and maybe where to find them at. I have stock 04 Cobra lights now.

Even though a lot of people talk shit about HID's, I did the DDM tuning heads/fogs and love them. My stock headlights were HORRIBLE and the HID's definitely helped. For a cheap price it blows away stock headlights. If you want white, get 5000K

+1 here minus the DDM point. Get McCullough's they've lasted me 11+ years on my bike and 4+ years in the Cobra.

Headlights are 9007
Foglights are 893

If you want white go with 4300k or 5000k. I have 5000k in my mustang and Jeep and I wouldn't go any higher.

i got my SET for under 100 shipped and a nice quality set

He means retrofitting an actual HID headlight into the stock housing, not a cheap HID bulb kit.

Which bulb is going to give me the best night vision, I could careless in how they look to others. I just figured whites were the best for driving. Also is it better to get the Bi-Xenon bulb.

I've had to replace two ballasts on my HID for my DD. One of them is having issues again. They have a life-time warranty but having to remove and replace is getting old. The kit is cheap but I guess you get what you pay for. Anyone else have feedback on the Mcculoch kit?

If you go with HID's, just don't go DDM. Ebay has the exact same thing for way less, faster shipping, and better customer service. I have ordered HID's for my last two cars and bikes from "supervtec" on ebay and the pair of HID's is $33 shipped for the digital slim ballast ($66 for headlights and fogs).

Only had a problem with one ballast and he had a new ballast shipped to me in a week no questions asked.

I've had HID guy for about a year with no problems. I bought them for my jeep, and one of the lights went out. But I just didnt seat the connections right. All is well, my mistake. I will buy from HID guy when another car comes along.
