Much good info on CobraBobs.
Stang Shifter Gaskets

I would say the best way to determine whether or not you have a health Terminator is to get a compression, and leakdown test. Also throw the car on a dyno and find out what your A/F ratio looks like.

Don't do any high speed 5th and 6th gear WOT pulls on a stock motor is common Terminator knowledge.

Congrats on the purchase, and welcome.

Start out with some gauges to keep an eye on your temps.. Aeroforce highly recommended. Also - shifter, mgw.

I always recommend doing cooling mods cause they dont like to be run the least bit hot.. As long as you got the revised heads that always helps..

Congratulations on getting your Cobra and welcome to the forum. The guys above gave you the link to my website Terminator FAQs page. I highly recommend you browse through it since you're new to the Terminator. Here again is the link. And best of luck with your car. Click Here To Read My Terminator FAQs Page

Don't get too worked up by some of the things you will read regarding Terminator 'issues'
I think it makes people afraid to drive them hard.

Bottomline is that some research, a few bucks and common sense will let you enjoy the car the way many of us have been doing for a lot of years
