Since no one has started the thread? What do you guys think about Nissan's new assasin? Motor Trend say's it the Z06 killer.

Some have said that finally the Japanese will dominate the American streets.

i think its a badass car, and should kick some serious ass.. nevermind once modded.. but we will have to wait to see.

Well somebody tested a japan spec one on a crappy airfield runway and said it did 0-60 in 3.3 seconds and ran a 1/4 in 11.6 at 120.

So since it is a turbo car it should only get faster with higher boost and bigger turbos, plus it is awd and nissan makes one of the best awd systems that can handle large hp. Then its only 70k so yeah it should be pretty nice.

If it sells good toyota might actually make another supra. Either way its good for everybody even us domestic guys. I dont think the domestics want to lose to the Japaneses as far as sports cars goes.

so its a Z06 killer because it does 11.6@120 in 1/4 while the Z06 does mid to low 11's at 125+:dw:

It was basically the only gig in town when it debuted, right? The Zr1 was canned and Z06 was a few years away.

It's going to be a nightmare at stoplights. I like the look of it, but for the money I would just mod my fox bodies or buy a Viper or Z06

It's a zo6 killer because it beat the stock zo6's time around the Nürburgring, which is very impressive
